Matkahuolto’s delivery methods and service outlets
Our network is growing rapidly – by 2022, there will be as many as 1000 parcel lockers. To some pick-up points, we deliver parcels on Saturdays and, during peak seasons, Sundays.
83% of Finns live within 3 km and 59% within 1 km of our pick-up points, the most popular of which are parcel lockers. Using a parcel locker is easy – there is no need to queue and the lockers are also open in the evenings and on weekends.
Matkahuolto has the largest number of pick-up points offering personal service in Finland. Our pick-up points include K-stores, R-Kiosks and Matkahuolto’s own pick-up points and terminals. Delivery to parcel lockers or Matkahuolto service outlets
Pick-up from a Matkahuolto parcel locker As a rule, parcels are delivered to Matkahuolto parcel lockers within 1-2 working days, in larger cities also on Saturdays. You will be notified as soon as your parcel is available for collection.
Pick-up from a Matkahuolto service outlet: As a rule, parcels are delivered to Matkahuolto pick-up points, such as parcel lockers, Matkahuolto service outlets, K-Markets or R-Kiosks, within 1-2 working days, in larger cities also on Saturdays. You will be notified as soon as your parcel is available for collection. Larger shipments and express deliveries are taken to Matkahuolto service outlets or Matkahuolto agents. You will be notified as soon as your parcel is available for collection.

Delivery to your doorstep or chosen address
Matkahuolto delivery to your door at the date and time agreed upon: Delivery to your door at the agreed date and time, including evenings and weekends in major cities. You will be notified of incoming parcels by text message to agree on the time of the delivery. With the recipient’s permission, consignments can also be left at the recipient’s doorstep without being signed for. Large and long items (more than 35 kg and/or 230 cm) are delivered directly to the recipient’s address, primarily during the business day following the order; the delivery time will be agreed separately.
Matkahuolto delivery to the recipient’s door without prior agreement: Delivery to your door Mon-Fri 8-16 without prior notice. With the recipient’s permission, consignments can also be left at the recipient’s doorstep without being signed for. Large and long items (more than 35 kg and/or 230 cm) are delivered directly to the recipient’s address, primarily during the business day following the order; the delivery time will be agreed separately.
