CityCity ticket

CityCity is a multiple-trip ticket for travel between several cities.

Who is it for?

For those travelling regularly on the same route.

What trips is it good for?

CityCity tickets are available for 16 routes.

8–36 trips depending on the route.

Price

The price of the CityCity Ticket is €250 for all routes.

Where to buy

The tickets are available from Matkahuolto service points and Matkahuolto agents selling Travel Cards.

Where to top up the ticket

CityCity tickets can be topped up at Matkahuolto service points, R Kiosks, onboard buses and Matkahuolto agents selling Travel Cards.

Validity of the ticket

For 120 days from the date of purchase.

Other information

A CityCity Ticket is loaded onto the Matkahuolto Travel Card. The Travel Card costs €6.50.

Groups eligible for discounts

Persons travelling on a CityCity Ticket are not entitled to any other discounts.

Group ticket

No group discount is available for those travelling on CityCity tickets.

Refunds

Any claim for a refund on the CityCity ticket must be made within one (1) month of the date of expiry of the ticket. The fare for each trip is calculated at the standard rate without any discount. The sum total of all used trips is then subtracted from the total price paid for the ticket. Any difference will be refunded to the customer.

Limitations

You can board and get off the bus at any express bus stop between the departure point and destination. However, you may not do so at other stops within city and municipal limits along the route except for the routes specifically indicated in the table.

The CityCity Ticket does not permit transfers, with the exception of the Tampere/Hämeenlinna–Helsinki-Vantaa Airport which includes a transfer at Keimolanportti except for the last departure of the day and night departures; and the Salo/Turku–Helsinki-Vantaa Airport with a transfer at the Turvesolmu stop in Espoo except for the last departure of the day and night departures.

Right of travel

The CityCity Ticket is for personal use only and only one person at a time can use it for travel.
