Refund terms for Regional Tickets vary according to the region. The refund terms are explained on the sales receipt signed by the customer at the time of purchase. All Regional Tickets are eligible for refunds in the following cases:
In the event of a strike during which the ticket cannot be used.
In the event of an update to the ticket or expiry of the service life of the card making it impossible to use the ticket or Travel Card for the remainder of the purchased travel time.
In the event that the Regional Ticket is lost or stolen, an investigation into the card transactions can be carried out at the customer’s request. Proof of identity must be presented when the request for an investigation is made. Investigation of a lost or stolen Regional Ticket is subject to a service charge to be paid by the customer when submitting the investigation request form. Any valid Regional Ticket travel time left unused on the Travel Card will be refunded to the customer.
Because Regional Tickets are partially subsidised by the municipalities in the region, customers may be required to show proof that they are residents of the said municipality in order to be eligible for purchase.
Right of travel
The Regional Ticket is for personal use only. For this reason, customers will be required to show proof of identity, i.e., a passport, police-issued ID card or driving license when buying the ticket.
