Matkahuolto’s partner Happy Angler celebrates its 10th anniversary!

Happy Angler has been operating online for the benefit of fishermen, boaters and hikers since 2011. The cooperation between Matkahuolto and Happy Angler has worked from the very beginning. In 2014, the product range was expanded, and later in 2019, when the company changed ownership from Hong Kong to Rusta Finland, the previous range of fishing and leisure products was restored. Online stores localised for four different markets (Finland, Sweden, Russia and other countries) offer a diverse selection of products from the best brands, not forgetting small manufacturers and attractive offers!

Matkahuolto services are highly reliable

Happy Angler’s customer service sorts out the trickiest situations and provides a smooth service regardless of the language area, whether it’s orders, complaints or product inquiries. Content producers write a multitude of fishing tips on different species and techniques and create dozens of interesting Club mails every year. The product information team takes care of product specs and images and turns out hundreds of banners every year.

“Cooperation with Matkahuolto has gone so well that we have hardly needed to contact Matkahuolto’s customer service – the transports have taken place as agreed. Sustainability is also more and more important to us,” says Annika Klemetti, eCommerce Team Manager.

“Our cooperation with Happy Angler has worked well and flexibly on both sides. It’s great to work with Happy Angler,” says Tuomas Räisänen, Key Account Manager at Matkahuolto.

Happy Angler is part of the Swedish Rusta Group, which had a turnover of around EUR 800 million last year. The Rusta Group has about 170 brick-and-mortar stores in four different countries, about 30 of which are located in Finland. The Happy Angler online store is localised in four languages, and Happy Angler delivers hundreds of orders every day to over 40 countries. Happy Angler’s Swedish website operates at www.happyangler.se. The Russian version is accessible at www.happyangler.ru, and other customers living abroad use the English website at www.happyangler.com.
