Matkahuolto is a Finnish service and marketing company for bus transport, founded to improve the movement of people and goods almost 90 years ago when cars took over the roads from horses.
We offer our customers - consumers, businesses, communities and carriers - a wide range of sustainable travel, transport and logistics services. They allow people and parcels to move quickly and easily to all corners of Finland.
We are the second largest parcel service provider in Finland. We currently have a network of more than 2,000 service points throughout Finland, of which more than 700 are parcel lockers. In addition to Finland, we can deliver parcels to all the Baltic countries, Sweden, Denmark and many Central European countries. We aim to increase the share of international transport in our operations.
We want to promote a positive environmental impact and a sustainable lifestyle by offering convenient bus and other public transport tickets, covering main roads as well as bicycle ferries on the Saimaa archipelago route.
We offer our customers a wide range of convenient digital services for planning trips and transport, booking and purchasing tickets, and using demand responsive transport services.
Our aim is to be at the forefront of public transport as well as passenger and parcel services. In our parcel services, we focus on environmentally friendly solutions. We are increasing the number of electric vehicles in our transport fleet, and we invest in route optimisation. We aim for carbon neutrality by 2030.
