Sending parcels
Choose Send parcel to purchase delivery for your parcel.
Write the activation code you received in the order confirmation as well as the names of the sender and recipient clearly on the parcel. You do not need to write the addresses or telephone numbers of the sender and recipient on the parcel because Matkahuolto will print an address card for the parcel based on the activation code.
Alternatively, you can print the address card attached to the order confirmation and glue it to the parcel.
Take your parcel during the next seven days to any Matkahuolto parcel locker or service outlet which number almost 2,000 around Finland. Use the Service Point Search to look up the nearest service outlet.

You can also purchase delivery at a Matkahuolto terminal or Matkahuolto agent outlet.
How to send an Express Parcel
The express parcel is currently only possible to pay for and schedule at our service points. Pack the shipment and take it to Matkahuolto's station or agent point, which has a total of 370 all over Finland. You will be notified at the time of shipment when the Express Package will be picked up by the recipient. Depending on the contact interval, even within a few hours of sending!

Prices for parcel services to consumer customers
Delivery time
We deliver your parcel within 1-3 business days. The express parcel is always scheduled at the time of shipment at the service point and will reach the recipient at best within a few hours.
Receiving parcels
When the parcel is available for pick-up, we will notify the consignee by SMS or email.
The consignee can receive the parcel by presenting identification: a driving license, passport or police-issued ID card or, if the parcel is picked up by someone other than the consignee, identification and a power of attorney.
The consignee can pick up a parcel sent to a parcel locker using the PIN code attached to the arrival notification sent by SMS or email to the consignee.
Storage period
The storage period for parcels is 7 days, after which unclaimed parcels will be returned to the sender. The consignee can easily extend the storage period by 7, 14 or 21 days online after you have registered as a Matkahuolto customer.

Extra services
You can add the following extra services to a delivery purchased online:
parcel pick-up at your door,
parcel delivery to the consignee’s door, and
Handle with Care service.
You can add the following extra services to a delivery purchased from Matkahuolto terminals and Matkahuolto agents.

cash on delivery (excluding cash on delivery bus advance (excluding tyre set),
parcel delivery to the consignee’s door, and
Handle with Care service
Limitations
You can use the parcel locker to send and pick up parcels with a maximum size of 30 kg and 70 x 40 x 55 cm. For parcels with a maximum size of 30 kg and 60 cm x 60 cm x 120 cm, you have to go to the other service outlets of Matkahuolto. To send and pick up even larger parcels, please go to a Matkahuolto terminal or Matkahuolto agent outlet.
A parcel may not contain any live animals, perishable products, dangerous goods or other content in contravention of the General Conditions of Carriage.
