Fuel surcharge

As a rule, the amount of the fuel surcharge for parcel services is adjusted each month. Fuel surcharge is based on the cost index of road transport of goods maintained by Statistics Finland where the reference index is the 2020 composite fuel price index, and a separately defined part of compensation for CO2e emissions caused by transport and/or other emission reduction measures. The fuel surcharge will be added to the grand total charged for all parcel service products.

The amount of the fuel surcharge for pallet freight is adjusted weekly and will take effect on Mondays. Fuel surcharge for pallet freight is based on diesel price quotations of the previous week and correspondingly as in parcel services a separately defined part of compensation for CO2e emissions caused by transport and/or other emission reduction measures.
