Buses on the Map!
The Buses on the Map service shows passengers the real-time location of the bus, plots the bus route with stops and calculates the estimated arrival at the stop. Passengers can access the service via a web browser on their computer and mobile devices.
Buses on the Map is an additional service that can be connected to Matkassa Pro or Matkassa Lite. The service includes a map area defined by the carrier where the chosen buses are displayed. Buses can be marked on the map based on route information or timetables.
In technical terms, the solution combines the static service, route and timetable information in Matkahuolto’s timetable service with the information on the service selected by the driver in the driver app and tracks the real-time location of the device.
In addition to the Buses on the Map service, location data from Matkassa Pro and Matkassa Lite is also available to third-party solutions via an API interface. For more information, please contact our experts.
