Travel area
Ticket options in Riihimäki city are single tickets, 30 day season ticket, 10 or 30-trip series tickets, R-Kyyti tickets and semester and academic year tickets.
Single Tickets
Period of validity
A single ticket is valid for 60 minutes from the selected start time. You can make multiple trips with the same ticket as long as it is still valid when boarding the bus.
Validity
With a single ticket for scheduled services, you can travel on R-traffic lines 1–5 and 7–12. Tickets are not valid on R-Kyyti demand responsive transport.
Season tickets
Period of validity
The season ticket is valid for 30 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.
Validity
The ticket can be used to travel in Riihimäki city local traffic. The ticket cannot be used to travel on R-kyyti.
Travelling
The season ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for several passengers.
Serial tickets
Period of validity
The serial ticket is valid for 180 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.
Validity
The ticket can be used to travel in Riihimäki city local traffic. The ticket cannot be used on R-kyyti.
Travelling
With the serial ticket you can pay several passengers' journey.
R-Kyyti
R-kyyti is a demand responsive transport service in the Riihimäki urban area, which serves customers according to orders.
Tickets and validity period
R-kyyti single ticket is valid for 60 minutes from the selected start of validity.
R-kyyti season ticket is valid for 30 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.
R-kyyti serial ticket is valid for 180 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.
Validity
The ticket can be used to travel in the Riihimäki city area on Riihimäki local traffic and R-Kyyti demand responsive transport.
Travelling
Discount group single ticket, adults traveling with strollers, people using wheelchairs or rollators and people holding a veteran's ticket, visually impaired card, or EU disability card are eligible to travel on the ticket.
The R-kyyti season ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for several passengers.
The R-kyyti serial ticket you can pay several passengers' journey.
Semester and academic year ticket
Semester and academic year tickets for children and young people are sold to everyone aged 7–19.
Period of validity
The tickets are valid for the academic year from 1 August to 6 June,
for the autumn semester from 1 August to 6 June, or
for the spring semester from 1 January to 6 June.
Validity
The tickets can be used on Riihimäki R-linjat. The ticket cannot be used in R-Kyyti demand responsive transport.
Travelling
The ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for several passengers.
