How to easily buy a local transport single ticket with the Matkat app

You can buy local transport tickets not only via journey search but also by selecting the ticket product from the Single ticket menu on the app’s home screen. These single tickets have a validity period during which you can travel on any service of the selected transport provider within the chosen zone or within the area stated in the ticket details.

HSL, Föli, Waltti and other local transport single tickets available in the app

  • Waltti areas: Hämeenlinna, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Kotka region, Kouvola, Kuopio, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Mikkeli, Oulu region, Rovaniemi, Pori, Salo, Nysse in Tampere, Vaasa

  • Municipalities and cities: Akaa, Hyvinkää, Iisalmi, Järvenpää, Kemi, Kokkola, Pieksämäki, Porvoo, Riihimäki, Savonlinna, Urjala, Valkeakoski, Varkaus
