Festival crowd on the move with Matkahuolto tickets
Summer is the season for travel and amazing events, but getting there is always its own adventure. Where am I going? What tickets do I need? How much will the trip cost? How do I find my way to the event venue?
With Matkahuolto’s Trips and Tickets app, you can buy most train, bus, as well as local and regional transport tickets – and get to enjoy all the festivals listed below (among others)! You can also easily compare prices between different modes of transport. The app won’t leave you stranded at the stop – it even guides you along the walking routes all the way to the event area.

How to get to Ilosaarirock
Ilosaarirock takes place in the Laulurinne park area in Joensuu (Linnunlahdentie 3) 18–20 July 2025. It’s not a long walk from the Joensuu bus station to the event venue, but if you prefer to avoid walking, the Joensuu local transport, Jojo, will take you close by—for example, on bus number 103. You can find long-distance tickets to Joensuu as well as local transport tickets for Joensuu in the Trips and Tickets app. The app also shows you the walking route from the stop to the event venue.

How to get to Ruisrock
Ruisrock takes place in Ruissalo, Turku, 4–6 July 2025. You can get to Turku not only by bus but also by train—though due to summer rail renovations, the Helsinki–Turku route is out of service. The festival organizer runs its own bus service from Turku to Ruissalo, but you can also reach Ruissalo by taking local buses number 28 or 28A. The buses depart from the Market Square (Kauppatori) in the city center. You can buy a ticket directly on the bus using contactless payment or cash. You can travel to Turku by train or bus from anywhere in Finland with the Trips and Tickets app.

How to get to Pori Jazz
Pori Jazz takes place at Kirjurinluoto in Pori 17–19 July 2025. You can get there either by bus or by train. The walking distance from the train and bus stations is around a couple of kilometers, but during the event, some long-distance buses exceptionally continue all the way to Kirjurinluoto. If you arrive by train, you can avoid the walk by hopping on local bus number 34 from the Pori Travel Center (Matkakeskus) towards Yyteri. You can easily navigate from the city center to the main event areas with the Trips and Tickets app – in addition to train and long-distance bus tickets, you can also buy local transport tickets for Pori.

How to get to Weekend Festival
Weekend Festival takes place at the Vermo Racetrack area in Espoo 1–2 August 2025. The nearest train station is Leppävaara, which you can reach not only by train but also by bus or light rail. Since there are plenty of options, the easiest way is to download the Trips and Tickets app, set your starting point and enter Valjakkotie 1 as your destination. You can see the best routes including walking sections and get all your tickets, including HSL tickets for the Helsinki region, with the Trips and Tickets app.

How to get to Flow Festival
Flow Festival takes place in Suvilahti, Helsinki (Hanasaarenkatu 10), located right on the edge of the city center, 8–10 August 2025. The easiest way to reach the event area is by metro, followed by a short walk from either the Sörnäinen or Kalasatama metro stations. You can get to Helsinki by train, bus, or ferry from anywhere in Finland, so getting your tickets through the Trips and Tickets app is the most convenient option.

How to get to Iskelmä Festival and Jysäri
Both Iskelmä Festival (26–28 June 2025) and Jysäri (3–5 July 2025) will be celebrated once again this summer at the Himos Center in Jämsä. The smoothest way to get there is by taking a direct long-distance bus from either Tampere or Jyväskylä on the Tampere–Himos or Jyväskylä–Himos route. These buses take you conveniently close to the Himos Center. You can also take a train to Jämsä, but from the train station, hop on a local bus or the festival organizer’s shuttle to reach the event area. You can find the best route for you, including walking sections, in the Trips and Tickets app.
