Ticket for free travel for young people in Savonlinna
Tickets are available for purchase in the Matkat mobile app
The free season ticket for young people in Savonlinna is intended for residents of Savonlinna aged 6–17, as well as immigrants living in Savonlinna.
A personal code required to purchase the ticket can be obtained from Kioski Puhakas, Ilokallionkatu 4, 57200 Savonlinna, starting from December 1.
When purchasing the ticket, the young person’s address and identity details will be verified using a Kela card (with or without a photo), passport, police-issued ID card, or driving licence.
The code is entered into the Matkat mobile app, after which the ticket becomes available for purchase.

On Saturdays and Sundays without time limit

Period of validity
The ticket is valid for one calendar year at a time (1 January to 31 December). The ticket remains valid for the entire calendar year even if the person turns 18 during that year.
Travelling
The ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for other passengers’ trips.
