Refund for tickets not used due to the strike

You can apply for a refund for a season ticket that remains unused due to the strike. As a general rule, it is possible to get a refund for the days on which it has not been possible to make any trips. You can apply for compensation within one month of the end of the strike, and the compensation will be paid approximately one month after receiving the application.

Please note that we automatically refund single tickets purchased from Matkahuolto's website, the Trips and Tickets application and the Bussiliput application, which cannot be used if the train has been canceled due to a strike.
