Ascension Day – check timetables 2026

Ascension Day on Thursday 14 May 2026 will bring changes to bus timetables.

Want to save time and effort? Get your bus ticket in advance online or via app. With a pre-purchased ticket, boarding the bus is quick and smooth.

Exceptions to opening hours for service numbers and service points

The Travel Services service number 0200 4000 (€2.49/min + pvm/mpm) is open on Ascension Day (Thu 14 May) from 10–18. On Friday and during the weekend, we will again operate according to normal opening hours.

The Travel Services customer support number 020 331 222 (€0.084/min + pvm/mpm) and the customer service channel in the Matkat app are closed on Ascension Day.

The Parcel Services customer service number for consumers 0600 11300 (€2.49/min + pvm/mpm), phone support 020 336 161 (pvm/mpm) and the chat in the Paketit app are closed on Ascension Day.

Matkahuolto’s own service points are closed on May Day. Most service points, such as K-markets, R Kiosks and parcel lockers are also open on May Day. Check the opening hours of the service points in our service point search.
