Clocks will move to summertime on 29 March – impact on bus timetables

Summertime begins on the night between 28 and 29 March 2026, when clocks will be set forward from 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM. The switch to summertime will affect the schedules of long-distance buses operating at night. 

The following services will operate on the night between 28 and 29 March: 

Helsinki–Klaukkala–Rajamäki 

Sun 29 March, from Helsinki at 2:30 AM (line 456N) 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Rajamäki at 4:45 AM daylight saving time. 

Helsinki–Porvoo–Helsinki (line OB78) 

Sun 29 March, from Helsinki at 2:35 AM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Porvoo at 4:43 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 29 March, from Helsinki at 3:35 AM 

The service will depart according to daylight saving time at 4:35 AM (3:35 AM wintertime). The bus will arrive in Porvoo at 5:43 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 29 March, from Porvoo at 2:10 AM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Helsinki at 4:21 AM daylight saving time.

Vaasa–Warsaw–Vaasa (line N1205)
