Clocks will move to summertime on 30 March – impact on bus timetables

Summertime begins on the night between 29 and 30 March 2025, when clocks will be set forward from 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM. The switch to summertime will affect the schedules of long-distance buses operating at night. 

The following services will operate on the night between 29 and 30 March: 

Helsinki–Klaukkala–Rajamäki 

Sun 30 March, from Helsinki at 2:45 AM (line 456N) 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Rajamäki at 5:00 AM daylight saving time. 

Helsinki–Porvoo–Helsinki (line OB79) 

Sun 30 March, from Helsinki at 2:25 AM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Porvoo at 4:30 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 30 March, from Helsinki at 3:25 AM 

The service will depart according to daylight saving time at 4:25 AM (3:25 AM wintertime). The bus will arrive in Porvoo at 5:30 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 30 March, from Porvoo at 2:10 AM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Helsinki at 4:15 AM daylight saving time.

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Helsinki at 4:45 AM daylight saving time. 

Helsinki–Turku–Helsinki (line OB15) 

Sun 30 March, from Helsinki at 1:45 AM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual and will arrive in Turku at 5:05 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 30 March, from Turku at 2:15 AM 

The service will depart from Turku one hour earlier according to wintertime, i.e., at 1:15 AM. The bus will arrive at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport at 4:30 AM daylight saving time and in Helsinki at 5:00 AM daylight saving time. 

Sun 30 March, from Turku at 3:45 AM 

The service will depart from Turku one hour earlier according to wintertime, i.e., at 2:45 AM. The bus will arrive at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport at 6:00 AM daylight saving time and in Helsinki at 6:30 AM daylight saving time. 

Warsaw–Helsinki–Turku–Vaasa (line N1205)

The service will depart from Helsinki at 5:20 PM daylight saving time and arrive in Vaasa on Monday, 31 March 2025, at 12:50 AM daylight saving time.

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. The section between Pihtipudas and Levi will be operated according to daylight saving time, and the bus will arrive in Levi at 12:15 PM daylight saving time. 

Sat 29 March, from Levi at 6:35 PM 

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. The section between Viitasaari and Helsinki will be operated according to daylight saving time, and the bus will arrive in Helsinki at 9:45 AM daylight saving time. 

Rovaniemi–Ivalo (line OB42)

The service will depart from Rovaniemi one hour later, at 9:40 AM. 

Helsinki–Hyökännummi (line 665N)

The service will run according to the standard wintertime schedule until 3:00 AM. After the clock change, the service will run one hour later than usual. The bus will arrive in Hyökännummi at 4:07 AM daylight saving time. 

Tampere–Valkeakoski (line 60)

The service will depart from Tampere at 4:35 AM daylight saving time (3:35 AM wintertime).
