General VAT rate to rise to 25.5% on 1 September 2024

The general VAT rate will be increased from the current rate of 24% to 25.5% on 1 September 2024. The new VAT rate will apply as of 1 September 2024 to the prices of those Matkahuolto's services, whose current VAT rate is 24%.

The VAT increase will not apply to consumer prices.
