Matkahuolto is the most valued travel and parcel service brand in Finland again this year

According to the annual Brand Valuation Survey conducted by Taloustutkimus and Alma Media, Matkahuolto is the most valued brand in Finland in both Parcel Services and Travel Services also in 2023.

According to the survey, the respondents consider Matkahuolto’s Parcel Services to be the most reliable and secure compared to other brands in the same industry and rate our Parcel Services as offering the best value for money among the brands in their own industry. Regarding Travel Services, the customer satisfaction index has slightly improved compared with the previous year.

In a changing world, our operating environment is also in a constant state of flux, and as a result, consumer demands on the industry are increasing. This year’s result is a valuable indication to us that our forward-looking development efforts to further improve the brand and customer experience are in line with our customers’ expectations.

When the direction is clear, you should keep going

Since we want to continue to be the easy and reliable everyday partner for our customers, delivering both people and parcel always on time, we are not going to rest on our laurels, even if the result is great. We will continue to strive for an ever more seamless customer experience, so that we will remain a trusted partner for our customers also in the future.

Brand sentiments arise both from experience and from encountering marketing communications. The result shows that we once again managed to fulfill our promise in both business areas. However, the work continues, and in the near future our goal is to be among the most respected brands also outside our own industries,” says Olessia Kozlova, Director of Marketing and Communications at Matkahuolto.

In line with our customers’ wishes, we have expanded our network of service points, introduced new 24/7 outdoor parcel lockers and made it possible to pick up parcels without ID with a handy pick-up code. Similarly, we have developed the Trips and Tickets app to better meet our customers’ needs by enabling them to buy and manage their tickets anywhere and anytime.

We will continue to listen carefully to our customers’ wishes and develop our services in the long term.

The Brand Valuation survey investigated the valuation of 665 brands among Finns. The survey was conducted in April-May 2023 and its target group was Finns aged 15-79 nationwide, excluding the province of Åland.
