Savonlinna student ticket

Tickets are available for purchase on the Matkat app.

The code that enables the purchase of the student ticket for Savonlinna can be obtained from Kioski Puhakka, Ilokallionkatu 4, 57200 Savonlinna. A student card or a certificate of student status must be presented when collecting the code.

The code for the autumn semester can be collected starting from July 1, and the code for the spring semester can be collected starting from December 1.

Validity area

All secondary and higher education students studying in Savonlinna can use the 30-day student ticket to travel on local transport in the Savonlinna urban area (lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

The ticket cannot be used during the school summer holidays.

Period of validity

The ticket is valid for one semester at a time. At the start of a new semester, the student must get a new code to purchase a ticket.

Travelling

The spring semester ticket is available for purchase and can be used for travel from 1.1. to 30.6.
The autumn semester ticket is available for purchase and can be used for travel from 1.8. to 31.12
The ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for other passengers’ trips.
