Varkaus City Ticket

As of July 1, 2021, the Varkaus City ticket will be renewed. The sale of the old ticket product ends on June 30. In the future, the ticket will be loaded on Matkahuolto's renewed travel card. The renewed travel card can be obtained from Matkahuolto terminals and Matkahuolto agent outlets selling travel cards.

The Varkaus City Ticket provides the right to unrestricted travel in the Varkaus municipal area and Kuvansi of Joroinen for the duration of the ticket's validity.

• The period ticket is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

• The 44-trip ticket is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.

• The 40-trip ticket for veterans valid for one year from the date of purchase.

• City Ticket bearers may also be required to pay other supplementary fees, for express tours, night tours and the transport of a pram, for example.

The City Ticket is for personal use only. For this reason, customers will be required to show proof of identity, i.e., a passport, police-issued ID card or driving license at ticket purchase.
