Western Uusimaa region's tickets

Tickets are available for purchase in the Trips and Tickets mobile app.

In Western Uusimaa regions the ticket options are single tickets 22- trip and 44-trip serial tickets or 30 days season ticket. The tickets can be used to travel on trips that start or end in the municipalities of Karkkila, Lohja or Vihti.

Travel area

Western Uusimaa tickets are divided into three zones. The inner zone ticket is common to all municipalities in the inner zone area (Inkoo, Karkkila, Lohja, Vihti). When travelling from the inner zone to zone 1 or 2, choose a ticket depending on whether your starting point is Karkkila, Lohja or Vihti. If your departure point is in Inkoo, choose a ticket according to your destination. Western Uusimaa inner zone ticket (Inkoo, Karkkila, Lohja, Vihti).

Right to transfer

A single tickets include the right of transfer. You can use the same ticket to make multiple trips if it is valid when you board the bus. The ticket has a QR code that must be stamped with the in-car device every time you board the bus.

The serial tickets include the right of transfer. The transfer time is 90 minutes, including one transfer. The ticket must be stamped on each leg of the journey.

Time of validity

The single ticket is valid for 90 minutes from the selected start time.

The serial tickets are valid for 180 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.

The season tickets are valid for 30 days from the date chosen as the start date of the validity period.

Validity

The tickets can be used to travel on services operated by Oy Amper&Wikström Ab, Hangon Liikenne, Friman & co, Lehdon Liikenne Oy, Korsisaari Oy, M. Tervo Oy, Onnibus, Koiviston Auto Länsi, Salon Tilausmatkat Oy, Ventoniemi Oy, Turun Tilausliikenne Oy and J. Vainion Liikenne Oy.

Check the validity of your ticket in the service icons on the Matkahuolto Timetable Search. If season and series tickets are not valid, the icon will indicate “Not for Matkahuolto season and series tickets”.

Travelling

The single tickets price includes the service fee valid at the time.

The serial tickets can be used to pay for several passengers at the same time.

The season tickets are personal and cannot be used to pay for several passengers.
