Stored value ticket
The Stored Value Card loaded on a travel card is intended for use by passengers who do not have access to the Trips and Tickets app available on the mobile phone.
The current travel card will be replaced by a new one in 2024.
The current travel card will be replaced by a new one. The ticket products that can be loaded onto the travel card will also be renewed at the same time and the Stored Value Card will be replaced by new options. The new travel cards and ticket products will go on sale in autumn 2024.
The current travel card can be used until 30 December 2024. However, top-ups for travel cards on buses will end on 30 June 2024.
If you need more value on your travel card for summer and autumn travel, you can top up your travel card on buses until 30 June 2024.
If you need more value on your travel card after 30 June 2024, when top-ups on buses will end, order a new travel card pre-loaded with value on our website.
Ticket validity
The Stored Value Card can be used to pay for the trips of one or several persons. The driver charges the Stored Value Card for the trip to be made according to the carrier’s single ticket fare list, with the value loaded on the card decreasing based on the number of trips paid.
The Stored Value Card can be used for trips of varying lengths and on most buses.
However, you cannot travel with the Stored Value Card on OnniBus MEGA services or on local services in the Helsinki metropolitan area (Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen, Vantaa), or in Tampere and Turku. You can check the validity of your ticket in the Timetable Search.
