With almost 90 years of experience, we transport parcels of all sizes to all destinations in Finland and also offer parcel services to destinations abroad. Our network is growing rapidly – by 2022, there will be as many as 1000 parcel lockers. To some pick-up points, we deliver parcels on Saturdays and, during peak seasons, Sundays. Offer Matkahuolto as a delivery option in your online store to ensure a good customer experience from order to delivery!
Your customers are served by nearly 2000 parcel pick-up points located in key locations for customers. 82% of Finns live within 3 km and 57% within 1 km of our pick-up points, the most popular of which are parcel lockers. Using a parcel locker is easy – your customers do not need to queue and the lockers are also open in the evenings and on weekends.
Matkahuolto has the largest number of pick-up points offering personal service in Finland. Our pick-up points include K-Markets, R-Kiosks and Matkahuolto’s own pick-up points and terminals. Fast and easy way to send goods from one locality to another.
Express Parcel is a super-fast scheduled service ensuring delivery within a few hours. Deliveries are scheduled on dispatch and the consignor is informed of the exact date and time when the parcel reaches its destination. The recipient can also pick up the parcel directly from the bus at a bus stop or the bus station if so separately agreed.
This service is an excellent option when, for example, the parcel is big and heavy, or the recipient cannot come and pick it up for some other reason. The delivery period is agreed with the recipient; delivery is also possible in the evening and on weekends. The service is flexible to meet the recipient’s needs; parcels may even be left at the customer’s doorstep without being signed for. Safe delivery without physical contact.
The recipient is informed of an incoming parcel by a text message in order to agree on the delivery time. The parcel is usually delivered to the recipient on the working day following the delivery time agreement, also in the evenings and on weekends in major cities. With the recipient’s permission, parcels can also be left at the delivery address without being signed for.

Pallet freight for large consignments over 35 kg and/or over 230 cm
Delivery service for heavy and large consignments to recipients.
Matkahuolto delivery to home address: Delivery directly to the recipient’s address, primarily during the business day following the order; the delivery time will be agreed separately.
The consignment is picked up from the sender and delivered directly to the recipient’s address. Orders placed before 13.00 will generally be picked up by 16.00 on the same day. Orders placed after 13.00 will be picked up on the next business day. In the most remote regions, pick-ups and deliveries are made only on pre-defined days of the week.
The recipient will not be specifically notified of the delivery. The consignment is unloaded in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle by means of a tailgate lifter and a pump trolley, or by the consignee using their unloading device; a crane may also be provided as an extra service.
