Since its establishment in 2005, Luurinetti has been purely an online store. As a result, reliable partners are even more important to its business than for companies operating both brick-and-mortar and online stores. Over the years, Luurinetti’s range of products has grown from fewer than 2000 to over 20,000 items.
The extensive range includes mobile phones and phone accessories, such as covers, bags and screen protectors. Other products include mobile broadband products, Bluetooth earphones, loudspeakers, bags, dash cams, navigators, intelligent home products, smart watches, activity bracelets as well as an assortment of small household accessories and electric scooters.

Another, perhaps exceptional form of cooperation between Luurinetti and Matkahuolto is that Matkahuolto’s Parcel Services desk in Tampere also serves as a pick-up point for Luurinetti’s products. When the customer selects the delivery option of ‘Collection, Tampere’, the product is delivered to Matkahuolto where the customer can claim it after receiving an arrival notice. No charge applies to pick-ups, and we’ve been pleased to see that even holiday-makers and those travelling on business in the Tampere region have noticed and made use of this service.”

To ensure speedy deliveries, Luurinetti has adopted a unique policy which is probably not pursued by any other online store. For years now, it has been sending products to Matkahuolto several times a day instead of just once a day. This speed is greatly appreciated by customers because if located along a suitable route, they may well be able to receive the product on the same day it is ordered. Also, Matkahuolto’s constantly expanding network of pick-up points helps ensure that Luurinetti customers receive their parcels at locations most convenient for them.

About two yeas ago, Luurinetti opened its second online store which allows customers to design personalised phone covers using their own images. The Omakuori.fi store also makes use of Matkahuolto’s delivery services.
Later on, Omakuori.fi will also offer the official fan products of some sports clubs. This means that the editor will include pre-loaded images that can be used for cover design, for example, by inserting the club logo in one’s own image.
