Independence Day Notice 2024: Check bus schedules and buy tickets in advance

On Independence Day, there will be changes to bus schedules and service hours

Independence Day, celebrated on Friday, December 6th, will cause exceptions to bus schedules. You can find all Independence Day timetables on Matkahuolto's website at www.matkahuolto.fi and in the Trips and Tickets app. 

In addition, schedule and ticket information is available from the Travel Service customer service number 0200 4000, which is open every day, 24/7. The cost of the call is €1.98/min + local network charge. 

Service hours for service points and customer service 

The customer service and support for parcel services, the Paketit chat, corporate customer support for parcel services, as well as Travel Service support and Trips and Tickets chat, will be closed on Independence Day. 

Independence Day will affect the opening hours of Matkahuolto’s own stations. However, most Matkahuolto service points, such as K-markets, R kiosks and parcel lockers, will operate normally on Independence Day. You can check all opening hours using the service point search on Matkahuolto’s website.
